Sail the Cork 1720 Sport boats and experience the exhilaration and competitive spirit of your team mates!

Each yacht comes with an instructor and absolutely no previous sailing experience is necessary

A great day out and has a very healthy competitive spirit!

This event is our most popular and we run the racing out of one of the three yacht clubs in Dun Laoghaire. 

The day can be half day and run into the evening if necessary. 

Sample Day 

0930 - Clients Join - Morning Tea/Coffee & Scones

1000 - Regatta Briefing by Sailing West's Race Officer

1030 - Meet Instructors, put on waterproofs and Bouyancy Aids

1100 - Morning Training Session Afloat on Yachts in Dun Laoghaire Harbour

1230 - Lunch in the Yacht Club (Many options available)

1400 - Race 1

1500 - Race 2

1600 - Race 3

1730 - Prize giving at Yacht Club
